A person's credit report and credit score (FICO score) are important. For example, landlords check each tenant's credit report and credit score to make sure the tenant will pay the rent. Employers check employees' credit reports and credit scores to see if they will be stable and trustworthy employees. Some graduate schools are now checking credit reports and credit scores to see if an applicant is a strong candidate and will pay off student loans. Good credit as reflected in the credit report and credit score is needed nowadays to get a good job, buy a car, buy a house, rent a house, get a good education, etc....

Question: What does it take to get from a 550 credit score to a 720 credit score?
I have recently learned that it's really important to get my credit score above 720. I haven't always been that smart with my credit and have discovered that at its worst, I was around 550. I've come up slightly but need to know how to get up in the 720 range. Does anyone know what it really takes to go from 550 to 720?
Answer: Сredit repair workеd fine to fix my credit. They disputed and removed lots of bad items from my credit report. I used this service - creditreport.imess.net

Question: credit score question?
I just got a credit card and i signed up for the credit score tracker option. I got the papers in the mail today and it says my credit score is 900 but on the grid the highest is 830. It also said i have no negative things on my credit. But how could it be 900 if it only goes up to 830?
Answer: the three major companies that create scores keep their own numbers separate from the official score. Their numbers can reach 900. This would not be your official credit score but the rating of that particular rating company. It's still a high rating, but not the official one. Was this an extra cost feature? Remember that you can get a full report for free at
http://annualcredittreport.com from each of the three companies once each year. My approach is to request them 4 months apart and that way every four months I request one from a different company. This gives a full report on what is on your record in case there are errors. The report is completely free with no strings. You can request your credit score for approx $7. I hope this is helpful to you.

Question: How to improve my credit score?
My boyfriend and I are going to be looking at new apartments. I have a relatively high credit score but that was only because I had late and overdue payments but I did eventually clean as much of it up as I could. I have two loans, car and student loans. I pay my car on time every time and my rent, will that improve my score, how long does it take for my credit to go down?
Answer: If you have been paying on time for 6 months, you will be fine. But, if you and this boyfriend will be merging your finances together, you'd better know what you are getting into before so you don't mess your own personal financial self up. Make sure before signing your life away, you both see eye to eye on money. Don't allow him to bring you down if he does not pay monthly, or else keep everything separate.
