Question: Who has filed bankruptcy and how soon has your credit and Credit Score improved?

I filed bankruptcy and I still have 1 auto loan (few late paymnets) one mastercard, checking account. How soon do you think my credit will improve. Has anyone had this similar situation. Also, has anyone heard of a credit reapair program that takes bankruptcy, liens, collections, late payments off your Credit Report.? The program is supposed to really work.

Answer: I filed bankruptcy 7 years ago and it took years for my credit rating to improve. Don't be late on any payments at all for about 6 or more months and it will improve some. Credit Repair Services are generally a rip off, so be careful, I don't know of any that are legitimate.
