Credit Score Quiz

Question: Will I pass math?

My only concern as a freahman in college is to pass math..decently for the first time.
I am about to finnish a math class.
and the outcome nerves me.
I've been doing extra credit, have been doing very well on nearly all pop up quizez (worth 10 points, we also get bonus questions)...except for 2 (the professor dropped 1 of the lowest quiz scores)
On all 3 exams I managed to pass 1 with a 95%
Barely passed the other with a D 60%
and have failed the other
(she also dropped the lowest exam..my F)
When the professor passed out the gradesheet
I was relieved to know that my grade is a high C (78.7%)
..a B would be reaching 80%
Now that I'll be soon done with this F%&*ing class
I decieded to do some extra credit worth a misealy 10 points for all the crap we have to do.
Anyway
I've got the feeling I'm going to fail the final, which is short in length.
If I do fail....lets say, I get a 54
will I drop to a D!

Answer: If you are currently holding a 78%, all you need to do is get a 70% on the final. (depending how much the test is weighed) I would make sure I understand at least 70% of the material and you should have no problem getting a passing grade.

Credit Score Protection

Question: Does anyone know if a bad Credit Score would exclude me from a job in the Civil Service?

I know that for the selection process you need to be security cleared, sign the data protection act & part of the official secrets act & not be bankrupt but Im concerned about just having an old CCJ or 2.

Also could the fact that I passed all the tests, clearance etc before (as I was a civil servant in the past) go in my favour?
I know that they check your credit history (it says so in the application pack) & from my previous employment with them I know that they dont employ people who are bankrupt but what I dont know is, as I asked if just a couple of old CCJ's would be treated as bad as bankruptcy.

PLEASE ONLY COMMENT IF YOU KNOW FOR DEFINATE!!!!!!

Answer: My brother works at GCHQ and he tels me dependant on what level clearance you are going into depends on the level of the check. The guy that applied at same time as him was rejected due to an adverse Credit Score denoting he may be prone to outside influence as it was clear he had money problems.

All the great civil servants who have fell from lory over the ears have done so for one of 2 thing sex and/or money
