Credit Score After Bankruptcy Removed

Question: Is it true bills get removed from Credit Report in 5 yrs?
I have a lot of hospital bills. I need to file bankruptcy but it's hard to get them all together. But a friend said after 5 years they are taken off your Credit Score. How does that work exactly? I have not filed bankruptcy yet. Just wondering if they really get taken off your Credit Report and don't count towards your Credit Score after 5 years.
Thanks

Question: will underwriter not grant final approval based on my debt to income ratio?

Ive also been at my job for 5 years. My debt to income ratio is my concern. With my student loans, car payment, one credit card and projected mortgage amount, the ration is 44.5%. will this keep me from getting final approval??

Credit Score For Fha Loan

Question: What is the minimun score and credit qualifications to get approved for a FHA Home Loan?
I have a high score of 583, one judgment in good standing because I am paying it down. I have 1000. left to pay. I have a repo that is being paid in 2 months and will be removed from my credit. The only thing that will be left are student loans that are all in good standing. I don't have a down payment yet. Are there ways that I can get approved with no or little money down on a FHA loan for a first time Home buyer? There is a house that is $165,000 that need minor repairs.
