Credit Score Married Couple

Question: Why is having a good Credit Score so important?

First off, this question is posted so that someone else can read the responses. So please don’t jump down my back. I understand the importance, but apparently I’m “wrong”. Or at least I think I’m “always right” in this case. LOL.

Also, how does it affect a couple that is married?

Please explain. Thank you!

Answer: There are several reasons.

Most people are not rich enough to pay cash for vehicles and homes so credit scores are very important to make sure that you get the very lowest interest rate when you do have to borrow money.

They are also important when it comes to your auto insurance, renting a apartment and even getting some jobs.

As far as how it effects married couples, unless they have joint loans it doe's not. Every ones credit is their owns. Now if one partner has really good credit and the other has really bad credit and they apply for joint credit the bad credit may cause them to be turned down and if they do get approved it will still cause them to pay a higher interest rate.
