Question: Whats should your Credit Score be to get approved for an apartment?

My credit isnt great about 560, and my income is only about $15 k a year, but my fiancee he has horrible credit but he makes about 25-30k yr. Would we have trouble getting an apartment? Or should we have someone cosign for us? One of my friends said many apartments now are not accepting cosigners, is this true?
