Credit Protection Association LP
Unfair debt collection practices
An example of unfair debt collection practices is when a credit collection agency falsely misrepresent the debt owed. Credit Protection Association LP is an example of a debt collection agency that would send a letter out to you blindly demanding that you pay off the debt without replying to your letter or acknowledging that the debt has been paid off.
Once Credit Protection Association LP starts sending you a letter, they often ask for you to pay the debt to them via paycpa. com. They would also state that you could seek to verify the debt or dispute the debt within 30 according to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
For some debt collection agencies such as Credit Protection Association LP, disputing the debt is useless
Although by law (the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, you can dispute the debt you owe, when Credit Protection Association L P is dealing with your debt, they will ignore the disputes. When you do dispute, Credit Protection Association LP will ignore it and still send you letters threatening that your name and amount you owe will be reported to the national credit bureaus as due and unpaid. The Credit Protection Association LP will not respond to your letters.
J W Preston at the Credit Protection Association LP
The letters from the Credit Protection Association LP often comes from J W Preston who would not reply to your letter or acknowledge that a reply letter has been sent to him. In the letter by J W Preston of Credit Protection Association L P, he urged you to dispute the debt or pay it. But, when you do any of the two, the results are as follows:
If you dispute the debt - JW Preston at the Credit Protection Association LP will ignore your letter and pretend that you did not dispute.
If you pay off the debt - JW Preston at the Credit Protection Association LP will continue to send you the debt collection letter threatening that your name and amount owed (which is paid off but they refused to acknowledge that) will be reported to the credit bureaus.
So, what do you do when the debt collection agency ignored your communications and reports you to credit bureaus anyway? What do you do when debt collection agencies engage in unfair debt collection practices? What do you do when the debt is paid but the debt collection agency falsely report your details to the credit bureaus in unfair debt collection practices? If this happens to you then you are not alone.

Question: What kind of Credit Score does one need to be approved in an apartments credit check?
I am a single mother looking for an apartment. I found a great place in the same school district as my kids are in now. They said they will run a credit check and that will determine my qualification. If it comes back conditional, I will have to pay an increased security. If it comes back denied, I won't get the apartment. Does anyone know what score these credit checks look for??
Answer: Probably a 600+ Also, you can have a higher score and still be turned down, if for instance you have any real 'baddies' (foreclosure, bankruptcy, judgments, etc).
You could ask them what their criteria is for approval. They may not base it solely on your Credit Score. I would imagine your income would be a large part of that determining factor.
