Credit Score Ratings Range

Question: Experian Credit Score?
I got my annual free Credit Report and also paid the 7.95 to get a Credit Score. My Credit Score is 870 and the range is from 500 to 999. But I though the max was 850? Did they change the range? I got a high B score, will this be sufficient to get 0 APR for car financing when the dealers offer this rate to good credit tier ratings?
Answer: Well so far everybody is in the ballpark but just not batting too great.
First of all the score range is as follows:'
A: 901-990 (Super Prime)
B: 801-900 (Prime Plus)
C: 701-800 (Prime)
D: 601-700 (Non-Prime)
F: 501-600 (High Risk)
It is based on the Vantage Score instead of the FICO scoring method.
As to the 0% auto finance, I went shopping a few months ago and most dealers (depends upon the auto manufacturer) only offer 0% if you have no trade in and a large down payment as well as a score above 800 (some required a score of 900 or above).
So that required some shopping around and some cash up front.
Hope this helps answer your question.
