Question: how does short sale affect credit vs. foreclosure?
I hace a 740 Credit Score. I am doing a short sale on my home but we are not behind on payments. We will stay current until the sale closes. So, the question is, how will the short sale affect my credit without being delinquent on my mortgage? is it put in my credit file different from a foreclosure?
