Credit Score Chart
Below is a the credit score chart that can
help you identify how good your credit is. The credit score
chart also shows different levels of credit from excellent
credit to bad credit or poor credit.
In the US, the national credit score average
(shown in the middle section of the credit score chart below)
is 678. Most of the time lenders will only lend to people with
good credit (green on the credit score chart) or at least fair
credit score (blue on the credit score chart). If you have
average credit or below average credit (yellow on the credit
score chart), then you may be able to find lenders who will
lend at higher interest rates.
For people with poor credit (red on the
credit score chart), very few lenders will lend and usually the
loan is backed by a collateral such as a house, a car, or a
paycheck.

for reference only and as a quick guide to understanding
