Question: transferring to a four year university from a two year college?

in high school my grades were b's and c's but my attendance was so bad i wasn't able to get in a four year college. in my first 2 years at community college i kept dropping out of my classes so i have not received any credits. if i go for another 4 semesters (i am really motivated now), and get a 4.0, do lots of internships and volunteer work, retake my sats and score high, could i get into a really good 4 year college and then into a top tier law school?

Answer: I believe that with hard work and tenacity, you will do just fine. Just make sure that this is REALLY your goal and what you REALLY want to do in your academics and career. Forget about what happened in your past. That is all behind you now. I knew students attended Harvard Law even though they were academically problematic in high school (they were really smart, but just too lazy or would rather skip classes and impact their attendance in school). I think if you work really hard and not worry so much about what you did in the past, you'll be ok. This in NOW and you need to get your act together (which you are probably already doing). Question: how do i improve my credit?

my Credit Score from transunion on a scale of 501-990 is 548. so its really bad. i dont owe anyone because of charge off payments(w/e that means) and i can't get any credit cards bc of my horible Credit Score. So how do i improve my credit?

Answer: The best way to get you score up is to have credit sounds weird don't it. Well if you have tried for a card and been refused try a contract mobile. This helps if you pay your bill on time each month. In fact anything you can pay by direct debit do.

Also check you credit history you can do it online. Make sure you have nothing outstanding you don't know about like fines or possible fraud.

Make sure you are on the electoral role at you current address this also plays a factor. Oh and Catalloge shopping is good too, apply for an account (very easy to be excepted) and buy stuff and pay off. If for what ever reason (bankruptcy ) you are not allowed to have credit, the best way to go is the contract phone, and leaving money in the bank at the end on the month. Hope this helps
