Question: what credit reporting agency give the best Credit Score?

I seem to have 3 different scores between the different agencies, does one seem to give better scores then the others?

Answer: FICO scores for all three credit bureaus are used by creditors. It is normal for scores to be different as the info at each credit bureau can be different.

If you got those 3 scores directly from the credit bureaus, only the one from Equifax is FICO. The ones from TransUnion and Experian are Vantage (different scale) or the TransUnion might be a TransRisk score (worthless). If you got those scores from a third party monitoring service, they are probably Fakko (their own formula).

Creditors use FICO. Paying for any score other than FICO is a complete waste of money. You can purchase FICO scores for Equifax and TransUnion at MyFico.com. Consumers can no longer purchase FICO scores for Experian.

Question: With A Credit Score of 698 what kind of interest rate should I expect for a used car loan?

I am looking at a 1999, 4x4 truck for a winter vehicle. It's selling for $6000, it has 89,000 miles on it. Would a bank even approve a loan of this sort?

Answer: I am a car dealer ... you might be better off with a personal loan, since rates are very high for older cars ... maybe 14% or so for a used car loan - sub 700 score.

Question: goodwill letters to old credit card companies in hopes of improving Credit Score?

I was thinking about writing goodwill letters to CC companies that has impacted my Credit Score in a negative way. I was delinquent on these accounts and that's what has hurt my score. I'm not even sure if they would still have my information but i have my credit card number on my Credit Report. So before i go thru all the trouble in contacting these places, is it going to be worth it?

Answer: if you do not owe than anything it can not hurt and the most it will cost you is 41 cents!!!
