Credit Score Us Government

Question: Meaning of life what is it?
What do people feel the meaning of life is? Work? Family? Money? What is the point? You get up and go to work come home exhausted, then you get paid and it is gone. The kids grow up and have no time for you ,then you are in pain from a old worn out body.Your whole life it seems like is focusing on money, for what?If you do not have a perfect Credit Score you are not allowed to help people .Is life about helping everyone else and then you get old and lonely and die? Why does the government control us? Why?
Answer: For a while i thought life was an experiment. It is so confusing when you really sit and think about it. To me it seems like the Sims game. Someone is controlling the daily situations in our lives. I don't know, maybe it could be a god. I haven't grown up in a religous family. There is so many things and theories ping-ponging. Back and forth. Of course it is confusing. You have to find what you believe in.

Credit Score Scale Change

Question: Credit Score scale is upto 950 :S ?
this is in reference to my other question
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20080509140609AAe4Jqx
I got my score from annualcreditreport.com which is the website clark howard recommends. on my report the score scale is from 350 to 950 but a lot of people are telling me that maximum possible score is 850 ? does that mean 950 is just a hypthetical score or have they changed the scale
Answer: It is likely the VantageScore, which ranges from 501 to 990. The VantageScore goes past 850, not the FICO Score. So, I'm thinking that you might be getting the two scoring models and their ranges mixed up.
PS.: I replied to your other question about this.

Credit Score Point System

Question: New SSN, New Job, H1B Visa. Car loan possible?
I'm on H1B work visa and started working Oct 1st. Received my SSN card 3 weeks ago, so I'm very fresh and obviously don't have any credit at all.
I checked my experian report -just in case - and saw that the "secured" credit card that I got from Bank of America in 2008 is in the system, but doesn't show anything except that. No score, no number, nothing...
Based on that, I'm looking at a $15,000 car from a private party. I am willing to put $7-8k as down payment and want to finance the remaining.
Do I have any chance to get a car loan?
I am working full time for a month now and my annual salary is $54,000. I have paystubs etc. but no Credit Score/point.
Where to go? Where to ask?
If I go to bank of america and explain the situation, do I have a chance to get a $8,000 car loan?
Any kind of help is appreciated.
Answer: Financed cars is more expensive to insurance cause it requires full coverage. You can compare how much you would pay for full coverage of this car using this tool - carinsurance.yoll.net
